Rarely seen even as a pure race car and even less so when road-legal, this is a fabulous example packing the punch of a 500 bhp Chevy V8 under the bonnet! Converted in 2007 to an extremely high standard this car had so much work done that it was allowed to be registered as a ‘new’ car back in September 2007 and wears a ’57’ registration plate making it one of the few TVRs to be registered following the closure of Bristol Avenue in 2006.
Finished in TVR Racing Purple with Black trim, fitted with Tonneau cover, Alcantara trimmed dash, Penske adjustable dampers, Tilton pedal box, Stack dash with data-logging, 18″ Dymag alloy wheels, AP Racing brakes all round, detachable hardtop, Side screens. Dyno verified as being just over 500 bhp and most likely weighing in a just over a tonne, this car won’t lack in the perfomance stakes! Fitted with a Tremec TKO 600 gearbox, BTR ‘Hydratrak’ diff unit, LS3 V8 supplied by DynoTorque and fitted with forged pistons, hotter cam, and a dry-sump set up. CanEms ECU system fitted and mapped via the TPS. Original Tuscan Challenge spec alloy radiator with two Kenlowe fans and Samco silicone hoses throughout.
